Usui Reiki
As a practising Reiki Master, I offer both treatments in and teachings of, Traditional Usui Reiki. Usui Reiki is an ancient Eastern system of natural healing and an effective method of hands on healing. Reiki restores health by working at a deep level, replenishing and re-balancing the body’s energy, relieving the body of both physical and emotional tension.
Reiki is suitable for absolutely everyone, from birth onwards, and is carried out with the client lying on a massage couch but can be done seated if preferred, particularly if someone has difficulties. Treatments can also be given over shorter periods where treating, for example, babies or children; and is also a comforting treatment that nervous and vulnerable clients can also enjoy.
Reiki has a positive effect on minor ailments from headaches and colds to other conditions such as stress and anxiety and on to more serious conditions such as chronic stress, multiple sclerosis and cancer.
Reiki may be used alongside conventional medicine or natural remedies and is now being used in GP surgeries, Hospices, Hospitals and Post-operative Surgery and also in Care of the Elderly. Reiki has proven to be beneficial during times of major transitions; pregnancy, bereavement, adapting to old age, stress and illness.
